The HMS library hosted the third annual KaBaam on April 30, in honor of
poetry
month.
Charlotte Agell explains:
Visiting high school students performed poetry, including Poetry Out Loud veterans, Manny Dettmann and Ella Werner, to an appreciative audience, some of whom performed as well. The poems and poets elicited plenty of emotions. A KaBaam is a local invention, a sort of milder, gentler Poetry Slam.
