Yarmouth Fire/Rescue visit with our 7th Grade Students

Yarmouth Fire/Rescue visited the 7th grade Life Science classes this week for the second year.

Deputy Chief Richard Kinderlan and Kira Lacasse modeled the process of taking patients' vital signs for the students. The students had the opportunity to take their own vital signs as they learned about the connection between blood pressure, pulse, and breath rate, and the study of the circulatory and respiratory systems.

The students were immersed in this hands on learning experience, and appreciated the invaluable service that these professionals provide to our community.
